What to bring on your first day!

123 Grow is proud to be a full service centre. At LSA we provide all meals which are cooked onsite by our chef, we provide all nappies and wipes, we provide linen for rest time, sunscreen, hygiene products, milk and milk alternatives for bottles and upon enrolment you also receive a drink bottle, hat, bag and t-shirt for your convenience. So what else might you need to bring along?

Formula

If your child is in the Nursery/Toddler room and still using formula you will need to provide us with formula for your child. This can be brought to the centre in the tin for educators to measure or in formula canisters. We do suggest that if your child is attending multiple days throughout the week that you provide us with an unopened tin or formula to be left here for the educators.

Breast milk

If you are expressing please be sure to bring milk along with you. This can be frozen and left here at the service in pouches or given directly to educators each morning. You are always more than welcome to attend the service for feeding times if this is an option that is available to you.

Bottles

You will also need to provide bottles for your child. If your child is on formula we ask that you bring as many bottles as the child may require as we do not sterilise them. We also ask that they come filled with the correct amount of water. If your child has transitioned to milk/milk alternatives all you need to do is provide the bottle and advise us of how many mls of milk is required to fill it.

Comforters

if your child has a comforter it is often a good idea to bring this along with you. This may be a blanket, a pillow, a dummy, a stuffed toy so on and so forth. Additional blankets/ pillows: if your child sleeps on a mattress you may wish to bring a blanket or pillow for them for rest time. This is entirely optional and the decision is left to you.

Spare clothing

Whether you choose to wear the LSA shirt or not is entirely up to you and the fashion preferences of your child . However, please ensure you pack a spare change of clothes or two, or three (maybe four, specifically if your child is toilet training). In early childhood education we learn to expect the unexpected, whether is finding the only puddle of water, having a toileting accident, 123 Grow is proud to be a full service centre. So what else might you need to bring along?playing in the mud, missing their mouth when eating and a million and one other potential messy incident- we like to make sure at the end of the day every child goes home clean and tidy.

Please note that if there are any other items you wish to bring along, feel free to do so!
